How much do you charge?
That all depends on a lot of factors that I have to take into account. I do have estimates on each service page, but I can’t give you a straight answer until I have all your details. First I have to learn about what you do and gather information on your business. Then I can better assess what you will need and how much it will cost. The sooner we start, the better.
What’s your design process?
• I do research on your business and the competition.
• I will do a lot of brainstorming and picking. It takes time.
• I will start sketching up everything I think of. I carry a little sketch pad around so I will get all the ideas down as soon as they hit my head.
• I will then get the best logo concepts on paper to show. This is also where you get to tell me what you want done with the ideas.
• I revise and modify some designs until we can agree on something.
• Your logo gets finalized and perfect. Don’t worry, I will be there for you to explain about the files, printing, etc.
What’s the turn around time?
Like the first question, this is something that can’t be set in stone. I try to get you your first round of designs within 3 business days, however, this depends on our communication and clarification.
I know exactly what I want, but I don’t have Photoshop, can you make it for me?
Sure if you know what you want, but I don’t recommend Photoshop for a logo. It’s not flexible for all usages, so I recommend Illustrator. I finalize all my designs in it, and stand behind it 100%.
Can you beat a competitor price?
No. I’m not interested in trying to be the lowest bidder. I work hard and diligently on every design.
We will know it when we see it…
I’m sorry, but I can’t work forever. There will a point where I will terminate the project. I am only one person with other clients and projects. If you don’t like a design after so many iterations, but you insist on working with me, I will have to charge extra.
Did you create all the logos on your site?
Yes.
Are they all real companies?
Yes.
What if I do not like any of initial concepts presented and wish to terminate the project?
If for any reason you wish to terminate your project with me, you will be refunded 25% of the production deposit, as long as we have not progressed beyond the initial concepts stage. The remainder of the deposit will go towards covering my expenses and the hours that I spent on your project.
Now that I have this cool logo, can you also make my web site?
Sure. The price will be different from the logo, and I don’t code, only design web sites. That means I can make it look nice, but I can’t make it work or function. I would be happy to recommend someone to you for coding.
It couldn’t have taken you more than 5 minutes to make that, are you gonna charge us full price?
